From the moment I heard this song, I knew it would be a way to express my feelings about the situation of racial inequality and the struggles of immigrants in this country.

The pain I felt was channeled into this beautiful work of expression that I had the privilege and blessing to make.

This project embodies my passion for doing what I love while also trying my best to make a difference in whatever way I can.

The verses with different languages that I had to learn were incredibly tough and I hope I didn't mispronounce the words too much. Despite being a challenge and languages I had not spoken before, the true key to learning them was feeling the passion that they conveyed.

This song is a celebration of Immigrants but also a call to action.
This project challenged me and helped me grow as an artist to heights I never could've imagined.
