Ahsoka asking Sabine what she needed to succeed was a great character moment.

I think this episode gave me my new favourite Star Wars line:
"What did I miss?"
"We almost died. Multiple times."
"Ah yes. Standard operating procedure."

One sign that Sabine may have matured a bit is the fact she's not pissed off having to use the wooden training swords. She HATED that in Rebels.

The "you win this round" line was fun and I hope we get more stuff like that because it felt like Sabine in Rebels. Sure, time has passed and they're more serious overall, but silly stuff like talking to a cup like it's her rival is a good reminder that they haven't lost their sense of humor

Seeing Jacen, the little gremlin, was hilarious. Hopefully he will be trained by Ezra as a payback to Kanan.

Loved the episode. I got some real Clone Wars/Rebels vibes with the space combat in this episode. You can definitely tell this is Filoni’s show.

I thought it was brilliant. And, tbh, as much as Dave, Rosario et al have told us FOR MONTHS this is season five of "Rebels, " anyone feeling "lost" at any point has already been told so.

I also feel like Kanan was referenced beautifully in E2 when Sabine cuts her hair and subtly in this one when Hera references Thrawn having blood on his hands for people who were like family.

I appreciate the dichotomy of Ahsoka learning from one the most naturally gifted force users and now she's teaching one of the least gifted force users. I hope they dive into that a bit during the series.

Personlay the fact that ObiWan was such a stickler for the rules, but was full on willing to defy the Jedi Order to train Anakin "I Will train the boy with or with out the councils permission" would put him in the non traditional category.

Honestly I feel like it's moving at a great pace, and covering necessary ground. It didn't make any sense to me that the Eye of Sion can't see anything that's in the middle of it, but I guess every giant ship in star wars needs a weak spot? Seeing the purrgil in live action was so cool

The VFX were fantastic in this episode. Wish I could see those Star whales on the big screen. For those who have never watched rebels like myself. Dave and crew are doing a great job setting things up.

Can't remember if it's been confirmed whether or not Temuera Morrison has been confirmed for the series but I hope that Hera turns to old friends to help with the Thrawn situation after being turned down by the Senators as the way to incorporate Rex (and Zeb) into the series.

I loved it. I really don't mind the slower pace. The action is great. The purgills were epic and terrifying

As someone who never saw rebels I’m enjoying the somewhat brooding pace of these first few episodes.

Ahsoka fighting in space was straight out of TCW. It was badass! :D

I loved this episode. The training scene at the beginning was a nice take on the blast shield down. Them working together to fight the enemy fighters was fun and Ahsoka heading outside was totally a move from Anakin's book. A fun episode that my only gripe was that it was a short episode

Droid, “You’re both going to die if you keep the way you are” was the turning point for Ahsoka.

That micro-gravity defense of a disabled ship on the hull in open space felt like something right out of the classic Skyguy & Snips playbook. You could almost hear Clone Wars era Obi-Wan panicking and/or sighing 😜

I loved it!

This episode made Grievous kinda more horrifing. That Huyang uses four arms to train with younglings and Padawans indicates that Grievous might have been designed to copy the training droids and would remind the Jedi fighting him back to their youngling/Padawan day. What once teached them is know killing them.

I noticed Ahsoka’s space suit had the insignia of the older Republic on her shoulders. That was a nice little detail.
