This movie was a HOT MESS Chile. OMG. What a weird ending and decision from Toyin, and what kind of man is this confusing yet wanted by multiple women at the same time? Just goes to show we women must make better decisions on who we choose to have in our lives. And sacrificing a friendship aint worth it for these types of men, unless ur friend is a deceit like Uche.

The writing is a a hot mess. They present Toyin as a very intelligent woman, apart the men things, she has her things figured out, work, statut, she even think of having a kid alone yet they don’t show the connection between her and Sunday, the reason that will made us understand her decision to date a married man (did he even divorce from his wife?). And at the beginning, uche was flirting with the guy and she didn’t see that her BEST friend since childhood has maybe had sex with him. I thought maybe it was more of a comedic/romance movie but it took a dramatic turn because they wanted so bad a relationship for Sunday at the end and didn’t know how to solve this triangle love affair . They did not think about the well-being and happiness of the two women. I don’t think there was women in the writing room because it doesn’t make sense from a woman point of view ( for my part at least ).

Spoiler alert 🚨 This movie is straight GARBAHGE. Weird logic by the characters, twisted sense of morality, a guy who keeps getting his ways all throughout. A cheating married dude who makes two childhood bffs; one a tramp, the other a wifey material, classy woman who’s normally reserved, want to be his wife. Women who are aware of his ways, yet are somehow okay with it —despite being ashamed enough to keep that knowledge from each another. Killing off the better woman, completely ignoring the still-wife, so he can have the “happy ending” that he wants… Seems more like a plot for a dystopian storyline where this is the last guy on earth and humanity needs to be recreated 😂. Watch at your own peril, but please try not to normalize this kind of shit in the black community. Movies like this ruin us!
