Hi Kelly. I think the jumbo you got is the soft caviar version. Many years ago, from what I remember there was a series of bags that were made with soft caviar. I have a jumbo single flap as well, probably similar to the age of yours but mine is made from the regular caviar leather that Chanel uses with their classic flaps😊 So normally, jumbo single flaps did come in the same rigid caviar as the double flaps now a days.😊
