【About Avatr】

Avatr was established on July 10, 2018. It was formerly a joint venture between China Chang'an Automobile Group Co., Ltd. (CCAG) and NIO. In 2021, Huawei and CATL entered and became the company's most important partner.

At present, in Avatr's shareholding structure, NIO accounts for less than 2%, CCAG holds 40%, and CATL holds 24%. Huawei continues to adhere to the commitment of "no shareholding, no car manufacturing" and still acts as a supplier. At the same time, Avatr is also the second car brand to use the "Huawei Inside" full-stack intelligent technology after ARCFOX. Huawei dispatched more than 1,000 engineers to participate in the research and development of Avatr 11. Coupled with the strong strength of CCAG, who is one of the top three car companies, Avatr is also considered to be the car brand that best represents Huawei's technology.

Headquartered in Chongqing, Avatr is mainly responsible for the R&D and manufacturing of complete vehicles. It has R&D centers in Shanghai and Munich. Munich is the global design center, and Shanghai is the global brand center and software R&D center.
