The sound from that is awesome!

My brother has a 1970 with a 1915cc, running 40 dell'orto, 2100lb clutch plate in a Cog Box transmission and a load of other bits that I can't remember.
Only has around 110bhp but it's a hoot around the streets of London.
He stayed away from Cal look. He was the first in the UK to fit the 17" alloys from a MK1 Audi TT under stock width fibreglass wings.

Cool car. Wow great owner. So many GenX just got left alone to discover cars. 17 Years old. My girlfriend lived 70 miles away. I bought a $450 dollar Beetle. Right away I discovered this cars strengths and weaknesses. What a great car.
