"Our skeletal structure is more like a guideline, really."

You should never underestimate the amount of places they can fit in or squeeze through, if you have one that's new to the house, you gotta stay on em for a few weeks as they explore, they always have access to things you haven't thought of

He tried so hard to dig the hole larger so he could fit, but all he needed to do was believe in himself ❤

“Surely, the ferret will not squeeze through.”
“Surely, the ferret will at LEAST pull the drawer back.”
“Surely… uh…”

Ferrets are in a constant state of Flux. Only when you observe them or touch them will they manifest bones, but when you aren't looking or touching them they revert back to their liquid forms

I like how he started off trying to obey the laws of physics, but then just decided: *no mass.*

Strap some cleaning material to them and your house will never be more cleaned

It's similar to cats, if the head fits the whole body will fit too. (Of course assuming it isn't fat af that is)

The octopus has a beak bone in its head, and can squeeze its body through any space large enough to accommodate that bone. This is a subtle reference to how octopi are ferrets.

My brother had a ferret who was an absolute menace. Troublemaker doesn’t even begin to describe her. She passed a few years ago now. I think she was 8 or 9 so she lived a good long ferret life. I just miss her energy.

Years ago, within the first week of having our ferrets, they slipped through a small opening in our daughters dresser and we spent hours looking for them. All 4 were bundled up together in her pajama drawer. 😂 Another time we had to cut a hole in the bottom of our couch to rescue two of them because they had somehow found a way in. Still to this day we have no idea how. Lol!

That ferret is literally a living shoestring with legs and a kleptomanic personality. What an amazing pet.

My very first week in my new apartment, I ferret proofed the place. And then my ferret discovered the cabinets had a 1" gap under the frame where they could get into the wall. The panic was all consuming that day til I lured her out.

Only animal in the world that can turn into liquid.

Rabbits do this to, if they can fit their head through something they will try and squeeze through. Our wild rescue used to do this all the time (the domestic ones often have to big a butt), but he's to chubby now.

Am grateful he didn’t accidentally squeeze out a poop.

Meanwhile the other ferret is just thinking "I don't even want to know how you got in there, I'll just pretend I didn't see that."
