If you listen to the original by Manu Chao, then what they did here becomes even more amazing. The Big Push's version definitely comes from the original, but it's completely it's own song.

This is one of my all time favorites!! The universe brought Ren and Romain Axisa (ukulele) together. Ren was desperate to find a roommate quickly and Romain answered the ad. They immediately hit it off and it has turned into an incredibly close bond - both their friendship and musically. I saw both of them perform at the Secret Garden Party festival last month. Romain had his own set, but also played this and a couple other songs together with Ren during his set. I have videos on my channel.

Gorran is also incredibly talented. They each share lead vocals in The Big Push, depending on what the song calls for. I would highly recommend “Swan Song” - it is a song Gorran wrote and they performed it live in a church with absolutely lush acoustics. It showcases their blend and harmonies even more.

Ren and Romain (ukulele) met when Ren put out an ad for a roommate that wouldn’t mind all the ‘noise’ he made. Gorran (bass) moved in later. So they spent a LOT of time playing together for fun & work.

Yesss!! I love this one so much from The Big Push Legends. Romaine Axisa (the gorgeous Frenchman) is a phenomenal guitarist & has his own beautiful music, well worth checking out too. Gorran Kendall on base has a wonderful voice also. They’re all such stellar humans too ❤️
