muse concrète tool M4L demo

Показать описание
excited to share this nutty free sketch tool with ya. muse concrete tool is great for making loopy based, ambient, drone, experimental, pads, weird beats, way out there sfx, sonic smoothies.. you name it. a sound designer's buddy.
max for live amxd***:
some demo sketches made with this thing*:
standalone application:
basic operation: drag or record samples into the 4 lanes, set loops points, play them with your midi keyboard. get jiggy with the 4 lfos. just have fun doing weird and wild things! no holds barred.
don't forget - when you record sounds into the lanes, to save your samples and drag the saved samples back into theirs slots. so when you reload your ableton project, everything will be as you left it.
to get the reverse to work, drag out the release envelop (rls) to something higher than the default of 8ms.
also dont forget to turn off the auto note generators if you want to play midi notes otherwise the note generators will play in tandem with you midi keyboard (could be fun?)
shout out to the following m4l patches that utilized to make this thing tick:
flating window code by cycling 74 max msp forum user PID
this tool was inspired somewhat by the m4l device 'quad chaos' made pheek and armando gonzalez sosto
*some samples used in this demo may be copyrighted so if you want to use them in your own creations, mangle the heck out of m'
**the osx one was built using max 7(its all i have rt now). everything works fine for the most part but some of the dials/numboxes are reverted to 0. you can select them and hit backspace on your keyboard to return them to defaul. i will build a new version as soon as i can update the mac and get 8 running on it.
***1.1 is available and contains the following new features: a step sequencer(use the play/bmp controls on the top level window), input section contains a feature that lets you route audio from the master back into the lanes for recording. a limiter and freeverb effect section
