Good afternoon Pastor Jones, awesome lesson. I enjoyed you explaining the 9th and 10th verses, a lot of people think you need to confess your sins. Thank God for His Holy Word. I appreciate you Pastor Rodney Jones, continue to go with God and God will continue to go with you. I enjoy your saying, Teaching the Word of God in the Spirit of Excellence.

Great job on teaching God's word. We have to believe in our heart and confess with our mouth that God raised Jesus from the dead. ❤ God bless you Pastor Jones

A good lesson and you taught it very well but something I learned is that some people have a problem believing that Jesus Christ was the fullness of the law so they are stuck under condemnation

Is confessing with your mouth literal? What about people who cannot speak? What about people on their deathbeds? I also think confessing and professing are different. I understand both involves actually speaking, but here’s what I mean by that…
When I was around 8 or 9,
I “professed” my belief that Jesus died for my sins. However, I did it because I wanted to get off the “mourners bench.” I was very much “lost” and did not believe in what I ”professed.” Later (about 30+) years, I “confessed” that I wanted and needed Christ to be Lord of my life and I believed he died on the cross for my sins. I was alone when I made that “confession.” No one was around!!
I did later verbally share that with my pastor and the congregation, but what about others who don’t have that privilege to share with others? Some religions think there are stages or steps to being saved, such as hearing, believing, and confessing their sins.
The thief on the cross hadn’t heard the gospel, and I really don’t know if he confessed his sins or not, but he did have belief that Jesus would live again and he wanted to be with him. I truly think actually belief that Jesus died for your sins and your making Him Lord of your life is what truly saves you. Please your insight would be greatly appreciated.
Be blessed.

Yes, the disciples preached that they always preached that God raised Jesus from the dead. However, it didn’t stop there. Acts 2:4 they were filled with the Holy Ghost and began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. Acts 2:38 Peter said, repent and be baptized ….in the name of Jesus…and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 8:12 Phillip baptized the Samaritans in the name of Jesus Christ, but they hadn’t received the Holy Ghost until vs. 17. Again, Phillip baptizes the Eunuch, although not stated in the name of the Lord (If he baptized in vs 12 in the name of Jesus, I believe it safe to say, he didn’t change). At Cornelius house, he and his household received the Holy Ghost as they spake with tongues…praising God. Afterwards, they were baptized in the name of the Lord. Then we have Lydia who she and her household, the jailor and in Acts 19:1-5 the disciples of John the Baptist were baptized in the name of Jesus and they spake in tongues. My point is this…when we say that one is “saved” one must also be baptized with the Holy Ghost. In each instance they either spoke in other tongues (The language of the earth), some in new tongues (Different languages new to the speaker) or unknown tongues (speaking with tongues of angels, heavenly language).

first of all sir, addressing the believers in christ, who he preached the revealed gospel of jesus, to him before it was written for us today, lm, not talking about the epistle you are expounding on, but the gospel of matt mark, Luke and John, which he himself had to be taught, to be justified by the father, before the epistle you are so on was revealed to him, jesus, made it clear in Matthew, 12, 50 verse, who his brethren were, those that heard what he taught that was revealed unto him, and he was making known unto them the gospel of Matt mark, Luke and John, the new doctrine of the father, shown in mark, 1st chapter, verse 27, the only other doctrine that was revealed, was the old testament doctrine, he revealed to moses, which the people had to obey up until the time jesus began to introduce the new doctrine unto the leaders, as well to the people, the doctrine all have to obey, to be set free by the father, from the bondage of sin, placed upon all mankind because of Adams disobedience, a curse upon all up to this day, that's why there is no deliverance going on in the churches today, because the leaders, are very knowledgeable of what my heavenly father say but are in bondage just like the people they are leading, committing as much sin as the people the father is not going to release no one in the church and world, until they come through and obey the gospel he has appointed to set them free from his law of sin and bondage, matt, 1st, chapter, verse, 21and she shall bring forth a son and they shall call his name jesus, for he shall save his people from their sins, jesus came to deliver the church from sin, and from under the bondage of leaders in the world and in t the churches that only know him by knowledge but don't know him.
