Brian seems like the one cool professor that keeps it real with you about life when you drop the ball on a test or something.

Brian has a fascinating documentary series called Fabric of the Cosmos (it’s maybe 7 episodes long), & as I was watching it occurred to me that this information is my version of spirituality. Learning about the complexity of the natural world feels the same to me, as learning about Christ is to a religious person.

We need more educators like mr. Green in our system. He shakes up the important parts of thinking. Not political, but intellectually important. Mr. Green is an intellectually important individual in our educational system. Love to hear his opinions.

The fact that this beautiful individual too time puts of his day not only to share his thoughts via podcast but to have directly spoken with me about the fabric of our universe has brought me comfort beyond measure. Or beyond measures if you catch my drift

This is exactly how I thought it would be, what a great thinker. I want to do what he does.

His mannerisms and demeanor remind me of a scientific Bill Maher.

Brian Greene....now this is a new way of looking at life! Brilliant to be a professor at that young age...like a fresh good wine...which only ripend to become even more interesting over the years. And I am at an age where I look back at my own life...stel several decades to go...and I still see that I can and will evolve...becoming another person and still be myself...that is life....!

I had a philosophy prof that did the same thing with Eastern Thought. If you wanted more than the classroom stuff, he was there to provide it. It fundamentally destroyed my current existence and at the same time built up a new, more appropriate understanding of the human experience. I have never been the same since, and still look upon reality and everything that goes on through a very different lens. And that is the lens of is essentially very little difference in what I was exposed to vs. what Brian was doing with his students. It all boils down to same thing - get rid of all the garbage and learn to listen to the cosmos, which BTW is you in the first place. When you fundamentally realize that you are merely the cosmos aware of itself, everything else just falls away. You still are able to function in this dumpster fire of a world, but always in the background you know the truth. This knowledge can result in a couple of very different paths - one has you just saying lets do this, balls to the wall, based on "nothing matters therefore everything matters", while the other path suggests "what's the point to this insane rat race", which has the opposite affect. I seem to subscribe to both, depending on my mood and the situation. Which ever I happen to choose though, it more often than not seems to be the right call.

Before I had watched this video 7 mins ago, I had no idea a human coild talk so poetically and diversely. I'm astonished, to say the very least. Wow. I had no idea, not even remotely close to an idea.
