Restored Honda MT-50 first time ride after 5 years

been stored in the shed for 5 years, time for my brother to get on the road so it came out the shed, got restored and is now as you see it. runs well and rides well. nice little bike.

This was my 1st bike but in red way back in 1995. It smoked like a chimney, couldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding and did 43mph downhill with a wind behind you. I loved it 🤣🤣🤣

It's brilliant for starters and im getting in at my birthday from my dad in a couple of months.. Btw its not a little bike it can reach up to 80 km/h .Btw i think it's hard to find new parts nowadays

I just bought one it was laying in a shed for years the lights are missing so is the plastic side covers and the light switches but it started so I'll try and find all the bits and if I can't I'll make them

16mm carbs on the USA bikes I thought? As they had the full power unrestricted bikes 7hp

Good spot mate, they were replacement shocks (as it failed MOT on the old ones.. too springy) i got them from Yambits.co.uk. only ones i could find :(
i had to paint the springs black myself to make them look like the originals.

Is the "MT-50" same as the MT5? Also is this one stock, and top speed?

Some people can still ride all mopeds with a car license, without L plates, if they passed their test before 2003. If you passed your car test between 2003 and 2013, you can ride restricted mopeds capable of 31mph. If you passed your car test after that, they you can ride mopeds with a top speed of 28mph with a full license.
