Excellent job. That video was exactly how all DIY videos should be done. No fluff. No rambling. No wasted time watching someone fumble a tool.

I appreciate you mentioning the prior tech not putting the screws back on the clamshell. And that you found some and did.
Also knee/torque/camera skills are impressive.

I would of broken a lot more things if I had not watched this video before doing the work. Thanks for all the info now my 15 outback is back up 100%.

I've never been inside a steering wheel. Doesnt seem too scary, and you did it one handed 👍

Thank you Mr Subaru for another very helpful video! You are making it possible to be less intimidated when working on Subies.

Recently got a 2013 Legacy and your videos are getting me up to speed on the important things these Subarus need. Thanks!

I replaced the relay on my 2015 forester and the fuse is good. I guess this is my next step to see if it'll get my horn working. Your videos have taught me so much and saved me from having to go to a mechanic. Thank you!

Thanks for the help with the economy as it is every dollar helps. My only advice is to say the pins to release the bag are at about 2:00 and 10:00 from the side holes upon entering.

Thanks. Used this video and 1 other to replace the clock spring on 2104 Forester with dead horn. Air bag was a pain to remove. The springs are difficult to see. It's a good idea to take a marker and draw a line down the steering wheel bolt and mark above and below to help line up steering wheel when replaced. $30 clock spring off eBay is working fine for now.

You still make that look easy. Great video.👍

Excellent. My 02 H6 has a clock spring that sounds like a rattlesnake when i turn the wheel. Repair thankfully looks straightforward!

But you make it look so!... easy. I think if it were I doing the work, perhaps I could have done it; but! it would have taken me two weeks to get it done.

Amazing how you can do the job while holding the camera.

Just before I pull off steering wheels I take a sharpie and draw a line across the shaft onto the wheel. That way I know how to line up the wheel without guessing when I put it back.

You made that look easy. I'd be so paranoid of accidentally deploying the airbag even with power disconnected, ha. Those traces in that cable seem so fragile. It's a wonder they hold up as long as they do with all the movement they would experience in a steering wheel. I work on computers and see ribbon cables fatigue on laptop screen cables with less "mileage." And I would assume most cars with steering wheel controls have a similar configuration.

Magnificent change to the ClockSpring. I was waiting for your video, I only have one question, is it not necessary to disconnect the battery when handling the Aibag?
Good job. Best regards.
