How to Import an Image Sequence into After Effects

In this tutorial you’ll learn how to import an image sequence into After Effects. You can import a Photoshop Sequence (.psd), JPEG (.jpg), PNG (.png), and TIFF (.tif) sequences into AE.
Here’s a super quick recap:
First open the import window (Cmd/Ctrl+i). Navigate to the image sequence and select the first file. At the bottom of the Import window you should have various options. If you don’t see this, click the Options button. Now find the [Image] Sequence checkbox and make sure it is checked. [Image] changes depending on the type of file selected. Then click Open.
