I hate the people that tell people they Have to stay together because they have kids together! They really don’t realize how much pressure and how much toxicity they’re putting that child in. Thank you for that advice in the beginning K. Because a lot of women tend to take and tolerate all kinds of disrespect from a man just cus they have a child with a man. Kids aren’t dumb don’t matter if they can’t walk or talk they sense when you not happy and you don’t want to teach them to stay in a relationship with someone when they aren’t happy whether they have kids with that person or not. You can not be the best parent you can be if you’re not happy first.

What's best for your child is that you are happy, K is 100% right. Because when you're not happy the home you're raising your child in isn't. Your marriage is your marriage, not your children's. The decisions you make will affect them either way, and you two will not stop being his parent either way. This is about you two, not about him, and I think women tend to use the kids as a crutch because they aren't ready/ are afraid to let go of the relationship while men tend to use the child as leverage to regain or maintain access or control.
