I love Takasugi, he seems like the typical villain that is serious and only think in his goals. But then you discover that Takasugi can be stupid as the other three. He is a very well written character.

This series deserves to be more popular honestly, I’m not gonna say it’s “underrated” cos pretty much anyone who’s watched gintama would give it a 9 or a 10

The thing I most love about Gintama is its characters. It has a huge range of different characters whith unique personalities and you will love each one. No character is forgotten and every single one appear in many episodes. Not like some characters in Naruto's arcs that they saw "We will meet again" bit they actually don't come in the series again. No character in Gintama is useless, every single one has a story and it sometimes looks that they are actually real persons.

i think i figured out why gintoki's sword is so strong it was made out of mahogany but not just any mahogany but mahogany from the planet of malchior 7 where the trees are 300 ft tall and breath fire and was forged using ancient blood rituals of the malchior people
