We scored 88 goals last season vs 94 from city. Thats a difference of just 6 goals. We conceded 43 vs 33 conceded by city. I think that made a huge difference.

Out of the 43, I am confident atleast 12-13 goals were scored because of carelessness or lethargy by our cb lb dmf and ramsdale giving bad passes.

What we actually need is solid tactics against counter attacks, long balls and not to lose ball due to carelessness in our half.

We have bought timber to strengthen our backline and rice is also a solid player which further strengthen defence.

We lost against united also because of our lacklustre play and unforced errors. There was no pressing by our players and both the goals were avoidable.

Anyway, we scored 5 and no one wanted a CF suddenly we need a CF, we need mbappe. Lol. Who has the balls to handle that ego? He could disturb the synergy of the team. Should not consider such options even if we have such money.

Yeah having a striker that bags you 20+ goals obviously helps you win more games, but let’s dispel this myth that the team that wins the league has to have a 20+ goal striker.

It can work both ways. Arsenal had 4 players on double figures but lost the league but city had only 2 on double figures( Haaland & Foden) but won the league.Having a striker that gets you 20+ can work but also having 4-5 players on double figures can also work which city have done in previous seasons. Arsenal might not need a CF but purchasing a RW to rotate with Saka will be a smart decision.

Man City never had an out in out striker to win the plethora of trophies they won until now. Heck Liverpool didn't have a 20+ goal striker either. Football is a team sport. Once that's established, then a striker like thar can come in. I can count 5 to 6 players that will give us that 10-15 goals. Its better than one 20-25. I'm very optimistic for this season
