The freedom that I wish that America would embrace is " the freedom from religion " religion like anyother buisness should pay taxes, they should be subject to all rules and regulations imposed on any other buisness .

The central theme every time LP talks abt The Union project is the need for high-level professionals - data scientists, attorneys, etc. And I totally get that and I hope they come. But I’m a regular person. Is there anything that I can do? If so, I’m not hearing it. All I’m hearing are the myriad reasons why I can’t help.

It's not our job. It's the job of a free press. Making it our job is what has made facts partisan, the truth subjective, and reality into a TV gameshow.

I live in the hinterlands. Dealing with any of them one on is never the problem. The problem becomes whenever 2 or more are gathered in his name. The need for the thugs to put on their performative act for appearances and the cycle of abuse that keeps those who know better hostage to the terror of it.

Truth. Integrity. Honor. Honesty. Virtue. Morality. Piety. Common interest....they Are the object of ridicule when real because the only context for them in rural America is a cynical performative act.

So why are we so shocked when they make their show of calling it all a lie? They all know it is. Because that is all they are ever shown. Thats what it has to be to succeed. Why are we surprised at their reaction to it when for them it is a performative act, A show? Of coarse its simply equivalent, the samething on the otherside, when they see democrats holding up values.

That's before we get to the fact that half of those democrats are only interested in playing the same culture war reality TV gameshow and have dissappeared the economic values that informed generations of democrats. Addicted to the economic fantasies that have destroyed those values....
