This was actually really helpful dude thanks. For all the people saying their board still flips when they do it, put your front foot totally horizontal and straight. Don't angle it like you would for a kickflip, just have it horizontal like the guy in the video

When doing a 360 Pop Shuvit, I have found that the rotation process is easier to do when your front foot is centered on the board and honestly, have your front foot in a semi-heelflip position. Just experiment with your foot being a little more forward but keep your back foot hanging out of the back pocket like they tell you when you are doing a 360 Flip.

youtube tip go to settings and in the corner where you go full screen and go to speed slow it down 0.25 and watch foot placement and whatever it will help trust me!

To all of you who have problems with it flipping like a half tre flip, try hanging your front foot off the board, almost like heel flip position. it helps to not flip the board mid trick, trust me!

Also one thing to keep in mind is bring your back foot further over the board than you expect ... works for me

I'm pretty good at skating and i have never done a treflip but i get  pop shuv  
first try all the time mostly so do i need to treflip first or...

From my experience it's really hard to 3shove with that kind of foot placement. I prefer to have my back foot in the back pocket and my front foot in pretty much an ollie position so the board wont flip. Most people who i know does this as well.
