WNEQ-TV promos (1998)

A series of promos -- mostly for Buffalo, NY's other PBS station, WNED-TV -- after an episode of Body Electric on WNEQ-TV in 1998.

Includes a promo for a special edition of The Scene on the proposal to relocate the Buffalo Zoo to the waterfront.

WNEQ ceased operations in early 2001 after WNED received an educational license the year prior, which gave its owners the go-ahead to sell the station to commercial interests. It was replaced by commercial independent station WNLO on channel 23, which itself became an affiliate of UPN in 2003 and became a charter affiliate of The CW in September 2006.

Huge coincidence that The Big Sleep once aired on PBS, considering it's legendary female star was the voiceover on two different PBS idents that aired at the time :).
