Spectacular scenery and gosh boondocking is where it’s at. Enjoying that view with vast space to take it in without being crowded in. Worth every penny spent to get your rig boondock ready.

We heard early on that in a wind storm put your slides in. Gives more weight on the axles

The wind is crazy there! We were there at the end of June 2020 and had REALLY WINDY night! By the next day it had finally died down and we could enjoy the rim and get some sleep!

So true the camera doesn't do it justice. We went through the bad lands last summer it was breathtaking I've told everyone to put it on their bucket list. Great video 👍

Several years ago we were at Rushmore KOA when a storm roared thru overnight. The wind was followed by Hail. We ended up with $10, 000 repair bill. This was July 4th and locals indicated weather like this is normal. So you were wise to pack up. We saw tractor trailers rolled over on hwy. 90. Scary!

You should go to Alamosa Co, the sand dunes and waterfalls and the alligator farm

We are excited as we are heading to the Badlands this summer. I have seen this boondocking area in other videos. Gonna have to research exactly where it is at. I look forward to camping in this area.
