Parents came here illegally, stayed one step ahead of the criminal justice system for a little while, Got citizenship to start a business. Thrived while white owned businesses ran themselves into the ground (HAHA they did it legally and the banks came for them the same way the authorities will be going after illegals). Then they gave work to elderly US born citizens/ veterans who were being fucked by their own country during the bush economy. Raised a son who would eventually work for the CDC. If that’s not the American dream I don’t know what is.

Unfortunately for the competing Irish businesses my parents faced, my parents actually employed US citizens. They did not hire Irish-illegal immigrants like their counterparts (but trust me they would have). Once my parents found out, they called INS.
