A low-scoring first half of football made way for a Sydney domination to all but end Essendon's finals hopes. Normally these two clubs face off in thrillers, but the Swans were just too good in the end, and that's why the Bombers are eliminated from Finals contention. Only nine teams remain in contention, ten if you count Collingwood.

Remember the Golden Rule: "DON'T GET ELIMINATED!"
