I always got a letter when I was little from my elf saying I got 10 minutes for the magic to get lifted so I could hug it on Christmas Eve before it left to go back to the North Pole. This family must've been lucky enough for the magic to be lifted more than once!

Kids sometimes the elf's run of of energy and santa asks the mom or dad to help him to set the holiday mood this rarely happens tho the elf is all ways full of energy!

For anyone wondering: elves *can* fly, but only for a certain amount of time! It takes a lot of energy from them and they need as much energy as possible to fly to and from the north pole every night :]
