The problem is, NOBODY actually looks like Diana. Think about it. Her height always made her stand out. Her haircut was something most of us hadn't seen before, and it's still uncommon. She had a beautiful but unusual face and presence--all the more, in that era where women didn't always get tons of plastic surgery. Her slightly crooked nose, her huge, sad eyes, her rosebud mouth, all that sweetly idiosyncratic asymmetry--she was not just lovely but uniquely so. So the point is, you're not going to find an actress who resembles Diana. What you need is an actress talented enough to replicate Diana's characteristic expressions, gestures, voice and body language, and thereby create the illusion of Diana. I think Stewart has done a superb job. She has made herself inhabit Diana's spirit and presence to an extent that's almost uncanny.

People mention about Kristen's awkwardness matching Diana's uncomfortable moments. All I see is her brilliant acting skill and effort in playing Diana's role. She's truly a great actress and she absolutely deserves an award and recognition for this. No doubt.

First of all it is NOT about whether she LOOKS LIKE Diana.
If anyone wants that, go watch the documentary, ...The real one is there.
If Kristen can depict Diana's posture, moves, emotion, mysteriousness, ..and of course her voice intonation, ...then Kristen will nail the part and the movie will be a success.
We will see.

Kristen is unrecognisable. She has completely transformed into Diana, this looks amazing.

My heart always goes out to her son's. Diana loved her children, and being a mom too I know how much that love his. They are the reason you breathe, and nothing but death will keep you from being there for them. I also know the other side, my dad died when I was 12, he was 36. I've now lived 4 years longer than he did. You long for the loss you have endured, but when you become a parent too. Then your heart breaks for the loss of the relationship that would have been between grandparent and grandchildren. This looks so good.
