My grandma isn't a typical babushka since she lived in a city (when she was younger it was a small town) all her life. But some of my older aunties live in the countryside and they are superstitious 😂
And don't forget about being fed every 30 minutes! Babushkas and aunties will make sure you eat, even if you are full

My Polish grandmother was always old and didn't speak English well. I needed my father to interpret. She moved slow in her old age. She also had the stereotypical big Polish grandma body. Thats what I grew up with and wouldn't have it any other way.
