The Professors - Fair Tax System

preview_player
Показать описание
How do tax revenues break down, in terms of spending on government services and obligations? How do current tax brackets compare to those in the past? Do the richest Americans pay less in taxes than those in other first world countries? Are America's budget problems caused by overtaxation, or a lack of revenue? What is a fair system of taxing people?

Good show.

Intelligent discussion, nice people.

I would like to see the discussion consider the Fairtax proposals, but maybe that is for another show.

The initial video of the public perception was good. I wish they would have started with a clear explanation of the current fed tax system and the proposed fair tax.

Great discussion but I’d have appreciated a focus on the systems (current vs proposed fair tax) instead of getting bogged down in the how much and what we spend on.

The moderator did a great job, but it would have been nice if they had stayed on topic. In the end they talk very little about the tax system and all want to more "clarity on the spending" to help push more money to their favorite projects. Sounds like the three guest should join the "Incumbent Party".
