Fantastic underrated band. This Album Argus had a soul and told a story. The harmonies and guitar work are legend!

Im probably the youngest person on the planet at the age of 28 that jams to this, im an old soul and this track hits me like a ton of bricks. There isnt a band playing today i feel is even worth seeing. This was the golden era of music, and it passed before i was even born. So as a guitarist, musically i bring myself back in time and just think to myself what happened to music....wtf happened....we havnt progressed weve taken 3 steps back. What a shame

Oh well, here´s a little but true story. So very many years ago..just as this album was released in Denmark ( I´m Danish and 73 y o ) some of my friends and I all sang along, but we did´nt get all of the lyrics right..so instead of " Warrior " we sang " Worryor " sounds almost the same if you listen...but later on we came to the right..BUT Then again..we came to the conclusion..BOTH WORDS FITS PERFECTLY in the Song and the story-telling if you doubt..well just go ahead a give it a try...guess you´ll be somewhat surpriced !

This band was superior to some of the mainstream bands that had a long and successful run.

"Warrior" by Wishbone Ash is one of the greatest songs in all of Rock / Roll History. Definitely somewhere in my top ten. One of the most creative, unique bands in all of RR History as well. If you like heavy guitar driven blues based rock n roll do NOT miss these guys when they come to your town: They are still They are still Awesome Great !

I'm leaving to search for something new
Leaving everything I ever knew
A hundred years in the sunshine
Hasn't taught me all there is to know
In the valley, we will gather there
Helpless in our surrender
Tomorrow the plow becomes the sword
Make us stronger in our danger
Time will pass away
Time will guard our secret
I'll return again
To fight another day
[Chorus x3:]
I'd have to be a warrior
A slave I couldn't be
A soldier and a conqueror
Fighting to be free

Oh man, I've searched for this song everywhere. I remember I had it on a casette tape, when I was like 11. My dad sold most of his old discs so I was hopeless to find it, since I had no idea of what band this song was from. And look! I'm listening to it after 21 years of hiatus.. feels good!
