Learn how to represent polar points in multiple ways. Recall that angles that are coterminal are exactly the same. So, we can represent polar points in multiple way by representing its coterminal angles. One of the closest coterminal angle to the given angle is the negative angle equivalent to the given angle. The negative angle equivalent to any given angle in the region of 0 to 2pi is obtained by subtracting 2pi from the given angle.

Another way of representing polar points that is not a coterminal angle is using the angle that is a turn of pi (180 degrees) from the given angle. But we have to note that when we use the angle that is a turn of pi from the given angle, we have to negate the value of r.
