WEDNESDAY: 10 Addams Family & Tim Burton Easter Eggs You Missed

The hit new Netflix series Wednesday is here, and the Addams Family Spinoff is a certified hit! Jenna Ortega stars as the dour daughter of Gomez and Mortica and she’s at a new school filled with vampires, sirens, gorgons, and werewolves. There is a mystery afoot and the young girl is on the case. Wednesday is filled with references and gags that pay homage to both the history of the Addams family, and the show's creator filmmaker Tim Burton. There are call backs to the 1990’s classic The Addams Family and Addams family values including the appearance of both pilgrims and a bow and arrow.

This new tale from Netflix and Tim Burton sees Wednesday uncovering the hidden secrets of nevermore academy and her own past with the town of Jericho Vermont. It’s twin peaks meets vampire academy. The series is full of references to both the past works of Tim Burton and the long and storied history of the Addams family, from comic strip to the hit 1990s films. Something you guys missed, when the Lurch(the driver) drives past Tyler in the last scene his eyes(Lurch) are rolled backward and grey. When his eyes roll back to normal, Tyler's eyes open.

I'm glad you nailed the kooky and spooky reference (which other easter egg vids missed) but you missed "you rang" (in the coffee shop) and no one seems to have noticed the cuckoo clock reference from the original series.

I think I found a reference in Wednesday: When Wednesday is threatening to put Thing in a draw of a cupboard if Thing doesn’t become her servant I think that when this occurs it’s referencing to the the other Wednesday movies in the 1900s where Thing comes out a box, similar to the draw in the cupboard.
