it would be really cool if there were a one-off match like the uefa supercup where whichever national team has won the world cup plays that year's champions league winner. obviously there would be some details to work out, for example, players who would be eligible for both teams, but i think that would be a phenomenally cool match and i'm sure the fans, of the contesting national team, club team, and fans of the game generally, would totally love it. i know i would!
