As an idea for a Chinese lesson, this is great! But why is all the chat in English? We already speak English.
But there's a lot of nice stuff in here, like that "怎么这么“ which rings a good deal more true to life than most Chinese lessons.
Could you maybe run with this "ten things from real life" idea? Ten things TV-show hosts say in their chatter would be a big help! Ten phrases from political history -- Gang of Four, and so on. Ten stupid claims in TV advertising? Ten used car dealer jokes, "This car is in perfect condition. It was owned by a nymphomaniac who only used the back seat, " and so on...
