I find it much more interesting as Mugabe's statement that they call that UN GENERAL ASSEMBLY but depending who is addressing the assembly the room is full of listeners or empty. Minorities are therefore NOT heard.

Unfortunately, a majority of the world's nations agree with him. Yes, there are a lot of countries "evolving" on the issue. The U.S. has marriage equality throughout the country; but it just happened in 2015. Hell, it wasn't that long ago the an American leader would have said same things. Look at some of today's GOP presidential candidates (Huckabee, Santorum, Jindal, Cruz...). Hopefully the 21st century continues to evolve for justice.
