When was the last time YOU played Dragon Nest?

Dragon nest was a blast. That was the golden era of MMOs. We had all the big titles in their prime and all these random MMOs you couldn’t possibly play them all. What a time.

I played Dragon Nest at its peak 2013 - 2016.

Wonderful mmo and wonderful people. I had a lot of fun and made many friends.
The combat was so much fun. It was a joy to play it.

To this day, this game has probably the best combat of any MMO I've ever played.

God I miss old Dragon Nest. Will never forget my first runs through the MInotaur, Cerberus and Cyclops nests (that from my knowledge have now been removed) all the way up to the Sea Dragon Nest.

There are still private servers alive with good community numbers, and some servers even have entirely new classes, content and mechanics!! This game was a source for many core childhood memories for me, and i try to play it every year, i hope it's never forgotten. ❤😢

I really liked the game but then they discontinued the EU version. I really hate it when the companies do that (Ragnarok Online 1&2 for example, Gravity really shafted us on this one).

When dragon nest level cap was 20, the PVP was incredibly deep and it had the most insane community. Once the game actually released and they raised the level cap, it was great for a while, but the depth of mastering the level 20 skillsets were not feasible as quickly new skills and level caps were growing. At some point maxing a Dragons Nest account to IDK level 80 was relatively easy to speedrun

I really miss playing Acrobat back in like 2011-2012

I highly recommend Dragon Nest Origins for the OG experience! Great substitute for those wanting to go back to the old DN years. It's on 80 cap right now!

Why are we expecting mmorpgs that came out like 20 years ago to be even still be kept up on? This genre makes me cry, I wish I was in the timeline where mmorpgs were the revolutionary genre, ugh

There are lots of private servers out there with devs that care and update their servers frequently with new features
There is Dragon Nest Origins for an oldschool experience with lots of QoL (Global)
and also Project Duck, which focuses on completely new, fast paced gameplay (also Global)
They have been around for many years and hopefully many more to come

One of the best games I played during my highschool days.
PVP is fun and PVE. I just hate when it came a time that doing combos, the enemy character started walking off randomly and you get to miss your juggles.

I love dragon nest, I recently tried to stream dragon nest to see if more people knew about it and played it, I uploaded videos to tiktok to see if they played it. I played the server sea, eu, private servers origin, infinity but they are not the same and the official server restricts the dungeons for BP, I wanted to create a clan but those restrictions do not allow, in the end I think I will wait for the successor that they are developing

this is THE mmorpg for me. i remember playing it when i was a tween on RU server and the community was so warm and welcoming... we even celebrated the new years in-game (here it's more widely celebrated than christmas), and also even 8th of march, 23rd of february (kind of like the men's day here, although here it's very militarized -_-), 14th of february... i have so much good memories with this game. my biggest regret is that i didn't save contacts with anyone whom i played with, not. a. single. one. so all those people... i wonder how they're doing now and pray that they lead a comfortable life.
meeting in a game and becoming friends for 5+ years and being able to keep this friendship through the years has always been a dream of mine. but doesn't look like it's gonna come true now, is it, hah?
edit. oh also i forgot to mention that RU server had 80 cap for like a year or even more without any updates and online count was still stupidly high, that's just how it was
