0:45 - 0:55 These 10 seconds are the vital part that explains the connection of all (current) units of NCT.

After we saw a brief shot of all NCT 2018 members, a door opened, by Taeyong (the leader of NCT), to NCT Dream who were waiting for us (editing this in 2024: remember NCT Dream has a line that says "Welcome, we've been waiting for you" in Hello Future lyrics) before clips of WayV MV starts playing. It seems like a mere aesthetic to some people but after I rewatch NCTmentary from 2018, I realized it's a metaphor for NCT concept.

Some narrative from NCTmentary:
NCT are connected by their dreams. There's a deeper dream called dream in a dream where the dreams are often strange and felt like a reality. Like a vision instead of a dream. Then we have Kun telling us about his "spectacular dream". This dream in a dream stage is where the synchronization of dreams happens in order to create a reality.

Why NCT Dream behind the door?
Coz they are the NCT Dream, the dream that connect every unit of NCT. They are going to connect us from NCT 2018 to WayV.

After the dream (NCT Dream) there's a deeper dream called Dream In A Dream (aka Ten's solo for SM Station). That's why there's a huge Ten solo shot at 0:51 and a hint of Dream In A Dream MV we'll talk about shortly.

The vision-like deeper dream. Guess what WayV stands for?
We are your Vision.

Kun's spectacular vision-like dream. Guess who WayV leader is?
Kun. Because the Vision (aka WayV) is the spectacular dream he was talking about.

So let me explain this chronologically.
After we meet NCT Dream behind the door, at 0:48 we have this eye shot of Jeno, the marbles from NCTmentary Dream Lab video, the water drop from Dream In A Dream MV, scenes from WayV's Regular MV, and a close up of Jaehyun.

The marbles remind us that the following scenes are explained in NCTmentary.

Jeno is from NCT Dream and through his eye we're entering his head to access the dream, and the water drop is like "Welcome to the deeper dream called Dream In A Dream" (also do y'all hear "Warning: Entering system" or something when the water drops? we ARE entering the deeper dream) where then we meet Ten (the host of Dream In A Dream stage) and WayV (the Vision). Then we go back to reality, exiting the dream-vision stage through Jaehyun's eyes to start the NCT 2020 era.

Why Jaehyun? My guess is, if NCT Dream is the dream and WayV is the vision, then the rest of them are the reality. Coz what I understand from NCTmentary, the whole concept of NCT narrative is to connect dreams to create a vision and manifesting it until it becomes a reality. Where did they start to manifest their dreams into reality? Seoul, South Korea, longitude coordinate 127° and NCT 127 is the unit that Jaehyun is in.

Conclusion: SM never fails to amaze me. Easter eggs after easter eggs all these years. That makes Ten's Dream In A Dream solo isn't just him participating in SM Station. It's a hint that Ten is going to be in the Vision unit of NCT which is WayV. And shame on those who said WayV is not a part of NCT. WayV belongs in NCT since the very start even before SM introduce WayV to the public.
