I originally came up with the idea for this edit when the M83 x Star Wars sound was popular on TikTok. As it turns out, I wasn't the only one, as when I searched for videos online I came across a beautiful edit by PJ Visual. However, I wanted to have a crack at making a video myself, and this is the result.

I'm crying right now... just in absolute tears. Got shit going on in my life. And I get why Star Wars means so much to you all. Because it met that much to me once. My dad showed me star wars. I loved it. My dad died, and I never got to really address things with him.

When the crescendo hit in this song, I realized what Star Wars is for us all and why we seem to fall into obsession over it. It's always been there for many of us. It's grown with us. We cherished the movies with people we love, people we even lost. The characters are ingrained into our souls. We all want a light saber and we all have a favorite. Most of all, Star Wars keeps us connected to our younger selves. We all want that Toys-R-Us kid inside us to stay there; and why not?

I'm so sorry I lost my respect for Star Wars. I got jaded with life. I saw it as consumerism and a petty concept to worship.

I did NOT expect to get hit this deep over some Star Wars, but wow... and it's all because this song mesh and that alternative Star Wars theme song in this video...
