I have not tried any "spork" designs yet, but ordered the Eagle Products "Titan-Spork" yesterday, which has spoon and fork in opposite ends. I never ever use a fork and a spoon with the same meal, and i dont think holding it will be that much of an issue. Most importantly; those "hybrid spoon/fork" things just dont work as good for certain types of food... I was planning on getting a full set with a separate knife, fork, and spoon, but this would be more than twice the weight than the "Titan-Spork", and take up more space, and it would be more items that i can loose somewhere - so ill just use the Titan-Spork together with my folding knife instead.
