I am 38 and my skin is pretty "normal" with no dryness or particular oily areas. I do have early signs of aging like fine lines/texture, as well as some sun damage and REDNESS!
I don't use fake tan, but I get very tan naturally in the summer as I have an olive undertone so my face is often a LOT lighter than my body, because I keep my face very well protected to keep my melasma under control and signs of aging at bay!

Dear Charlotte, Firstly I love videos looking at older/existing products, not just new ones; thank you. Secondly you are really rocking that Sunlit Seduction palette. I (56, pale skin) do not understand the appeal of pink eyeshadows: on me they just look like oncoming conjunctivitis or a nasty stye 😂. But on you it honestly looks lovely! Best wishes, Anne

Thank you for telling us what YOU look for in a skin tint. (No sarcasm meant) I have melasma so need a product with more coverage, but in the summer I want something lighter than full coverage foundation. You’ve kept me from making a costly mistake! I’ve been using a BB cream from Moringa that works well. Of course I watch your videos anyway for your humor and knowledge. But truly, thank you for the disclaimer - I would have not understood why these products didn’t work for me without it.

Chanel Water Fresh Tint is my favorite skin tint of all time. I find that it gives me a ton of coverage and sort of feels like I'm wearing a panty hose on my face.

Thanks Charlottte, for giving such a detailed review of so many different types of products at such different price points! It's really a big help when deciding where to spend a limited beauty budget! Just FYI for those who have very fair, pink skin (I mean really white pink skin) the Chanel water tint "light" version is nowhere near light enough. It makes the face on gals like us looks dirty, not tinted or corrected. One the other hand, the light rosy shade of the Chanel skin enhancer is sooo beautiful, but I can see where it would not work for everyone.

My favorite one is the Danessa Myricks' skin tint! I was afraid of the light shades, I bought 04...CHEF'S KISS! The best neutral/slighty olive shade for my skin, hydrating, light but smoothing, correcting, longwearing...I'm in LOVE, and I'm a hard one to please!

I honestly cannot get enough of skin tints. The Rose Inc one is a really lovely option with more colors to choose from. I’m really interested in the Chanel suggestions you gave.

I love the Chantecaille!! And I'd really like to try the Hourglass - but they don't have a light neutral which is what i need. Oh well I i guess it saves me money!

I have the lancome and I use a bit of the les beiges on top to add that healthy glow. I also love Laura Mercier skin tint! And I also use the Chantecaille when I want more coverage. Will have to try the hour glass!

I’m currently using the summer Fridays skin tint, it wears well all day and looks great on me. My favorite all time is Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer natural, its so comfortable and I keep going back to it after many failures. I have dry skin so I love extra moisturizer.

My favorite by far is the Future Skin Gel from Chantecaille. Sometimes i mix it with some moisturizer for a super sheer finish. My dermatologist couldn’t tell I was wearing makeup when I wore this mixture 💄

Hi Charlotte! I completely agree with you in 3 choices, haven’t tried the other ones. Shiseido is goed but Chanel water tint and hourglass are gorgeous! Just fyi: I’m usually your winter shade and hourglass shade 7 was spot on. Not orange at all and matches my medium olive skin really well.

Sisley Phyto Hydra Teint, tinted moisturiser 15+ is the BEST tinted moisturiser on the market hands down. If you haven't tried it, you don't know what you are missing. It evens out and blurs the complexion and it is very light, you can't feel it on your skin. I set it with the Sisley phyto poudre libre (3 rose orient), the best, most silky, most bluring loose powder on the market. There isn't a lot of coverage so if you have blemishes or imperfections you want to cover, this might not be the best tinted moisturiser for you. It wears beautifully during the day and your skin feels silky smooth even at the end of the day. Some products feel like they are detrimental to your skin and I can't wait to wash them off, but with Sisley my skin feels great at the end of a long day. I use Shade 0 - I am ghostly white with a cool undertone lol. I can't say enough good things about Sisley, they are the real deal, their products are outstanding. Yes, Sisley is pricey, but at my age (46), I am not going to put products on my face which are going to send my skin backwards.
