TALVEZ - SANDRA HORTA

"Sandra Horta's new single is "Talvez", a jazzy, smooth version of this classical capeverdean Morna. "Talvez was the last morna written by B.Leza the great musical composer of the islands of Cabo Verde. In this video Sandra pays tribute to her major inspiration: the strong women of her homeland, fighting so many battles, "including battles of the heart", she says. "As much as they are hurting these women keep being the shining light for their children even if all the stars in their own sky have turned off". This is a love story from the point of many women who don't live happy ending stories but keep shining love from generation to generation.
