8:30 If you _do_ want to practice quietly, a ten inch Evans Soundoff Mute will hush the snare wonderfully, and actually sounds quite pleasant in its own right. If you buy the two toms that are sold separately, get another ten inch mute for the high tom and a fourteen incher for the “floor” tom. The muffled sounds of both aren’t pretty but they are soft enough for those who need to practice in near-silence.

Neither the Evans Soundoff nor any other mute that I know of will fit the bass drum, but a muted bass drum beater will do the job.

Great use this also, use brushes mainly when doing acoustic house and backyard jams. "Sometimes" with just the snare and base. Well done young fella !!!
