When Lex in the actual film said the line "You flew to close to the sun" I immediately thought of this fan trailer. Would have loved to see this version of the film. In some alternate dimension we got the perfect Batman/Superman film...

When WB wanted to cast Lex, some executive was like, "GET ME HEISENBERG!" But the intern hadn't seen Breaking Bad, so he misunderstood and got Eisenberg, and everyone thought it would be too awkward to send him home so they just hired him.

I have seen lots of fan made films and trailers before, most involve current movie footage with voice-overs, others have regular people in costumes, pretending to be their favourite characters. 

I can honestly say this is one of the finest fan made trailers I have seen in a long time. Congratulations to you, sir.

(infact the only things I see wrong with it are you see Bryan Cranston shaving his head, while Luthor's baldness was caused by a meteor accident, and he doesn't have a beard, but this is still incredibly well done!)

I watch this trailer every now and then and I cry at how much better the movie could’ve been if Cranston were Lex and if they changed the plot.

I know a lot of people don't like the "serious" approach many DC films have, but I love it, it's a great way to distinguish DC Entertainment from Marvel Studios, which has a more "comic booky" feel with it's bright colors, kid friendly dialogue and humor (not that there's anything wrong with that)
