The realistic weapons sounds feels more exaggerated than it should be, including the echoes. Looking at the guns, especially the pistols sounds. They sound like a rifle firing compared to an actual pistol.

tbh the sounds from vanilla is more than fine imo. the problem is that they lack reverb like in real life your sound would bounce on everything. the downtown shooting from the movie heat is one of the best examples. so if u ask me the weapon sounds are fine. they just need to tweak the reverb to match your surroundings

I'll be honest, only the stun gun sounds better. All the other guns in the mod make indoor firing sounds, are loud (not punchy loud, just the low quality kind of loud), and are tremendously out of place with the game. You could put these in RDR2 or Ready Or Not and they'd still be out of place. Hard pass.

Soooo...the unholy hellbringer in the RWS (Realistic Weapons Sounds) is still the same, but if you stop firing it, you can hear a different sound

Tbh besides for maybe the taser being dead on and the suppressors sounding less generic on the mod, all the Vanilla needs is more volume especially on the echoes and it'd be fine as far as realistic goes
