We are still depending on diesel trains in 2024?? While the rest of the world is going electric?? I swear as Kenyans we are so behind. It's like we are still in the 90's. What Nairobi and Kenya at large really needs is a good BRT transport system for roads and electric trains for both metro and country travel. We need to get rid of matatus as they are very informal. In fact, matatus should have been abandoned as soon as we entered the 2010's. Let's face it, this country is still vastly behind the rest of the world outside of Africa and even behind countries like SA, Nigeria, Egypt, Morocco and Algeria. Even Tanzania has already finished their very ambitious electric rail project. Tanzania and Uganda will soon surpass us at this rate
