You are helping me so much. Thank you for these 3D modeling videos. I had been using extrude and subtract for everything. Press pull makes things a lot easier. Now if I could learn how to make threaded fasteners in 3D I’ll be set. Oh and extrude path and so many others.

fantastic video thanks! but one question, I'm new to 3d drawing, correct me if I am wrong, but using AutoCAD mechancical seems far too complicated compared to Inventor or solid works? it is more like "ok you can do 3d drawings in Acad as well, but not really ment to used for". it is so much more work, also have seen one of your Inventor videos, way more handy program. greetings from Austria

8:24 at this point I can't trim, only cutting ✂️ edge is selected then I was trim to down half circle ⭕ can't trim, what I do ?

hI, thank you for the video. I have a question though, when i was trying to do the arch, then trim the unneeded lines, I kept getting an error, that "edge is perpendicular to the UCS XY plane". I tried setting projmode to 0 as someone said but that didn't help. Any idea?
