Galaxy S10: How to Use All 3 Camera Lenses with Examples (Zoom In & Out)

With the Samsung Galaxy S10, S10 Plus and S10E you have triple cameras on the back side. You have a wide (eg. standard), ultra wide and telephoto lens. You can use all 3 camera lenses in video or photo mode. I show you how to use and give you some examples as well. This is really a great feature on the S10 but now they need to get a wide angle on the front side too.

When looking at the multiple lens side of the phone the way you were holding it, the lens all the way on the left seems to only be used while using the "Live Focus" mode. You can confirm this by covering it with a piece of paper or masking tape and trying the zoom levels and other features. The only mode I found the left lens used was during Live Focus.

2022, I've been using the x2 mode, but I found out that it's not actually using that lens, it's just zooming with the main lens in the middle.

Did Samsung fucked it up, or am I doing something wrong?

Yeah its so awesome that when you used the other 2 lenses and cover the middle you wont see a thing

With the new update, it only uses 2 of the cameras now. Im pissed. Put your finger in front of the middle lens and go from wide angle to normal to telephoto. Your finger is offset on the wide angle, in the middle on the regular, and when you zoom in to 2X, the picture doesn't change

My s10 never uses the telephoto lens. .5 is uw and 1-10 only uses the center lens. Why?

zooming feature is best in oneplus...you don't have to put two finger at once...just slide.., .that's great feature in oneplus

Here's something I discovered today. While you can't zoom in on a selfie with the built-in Samsung app, you can with the Google Camera app. It came over with my restore from the S7.. Though a message says it's an old app that might not work properly with the current OS, it works fine. This means that Samsung is holding out on us. Why would they intentionally disable the zoom on selfies?

For the front camera I actually had 2 lenses 1 for 1 person in a picture the 2nd for 2 people
