BATTLETECH: The Warhammer IIC

Показать описание
One of the all-time Greats of #Battletech, the #WarhammerIIC has been apart of the history of the #Clans from even before the death of the #Ilkhan, Nicholas Kerensky.

In this piece, you will see this Clan Assault #Battlemech in its full glory, as we go over not only the machine itself, but those who made it. It contains the histories of #ClanStarAdder, #ClanSnowRaven, #ClanSeaFox / #ClanDiamondShark, Second Line battlemechs, the machine itself, as well as its importance to the events around it.

Whether it be its impact on the economy, which it funnily does have once it comes to the #InnerSphere, or it is its battlefield dominance, this video goes as deep as I could go, and I still ended up cutting almost an hour's worth of content from the script.

So. Won't you all join me on this adventure?

This video is made with a wide variety of sources, which are put in the top pinned comment. Many of the conclusions in this video are based on tethering facts together from various portions of the sourcebooks, and attaching them together to make a coherent narrative, especially early on, they are all grounded in facts and information found in various resources however. Please consult the direct resources listed in order to fully explore the lore which this video covers.

Thank you to Tex, Frog, Sven, B33F, Paul, & Rem! I caught Paul, but was curious about Rem. I so love seeing creators in our community help eachother out as it adds such richness to the videos! I was expecting George LeDeux to pop in, but I guess you're saving that for the next long-form!
Epic job Red, & everyone that helped made this so epic!

1. I love this.
2. When I heard the voice that was being used for Dechavlier I paused the video and read that quote out myself because it felt deeply wrong.

Professor Hey teen gave us a video on the Scorpion last night, Sven VanderPlank earlier about the 2nd Succession War, and now Red gives us the long awaited Warhammer IIC!

WHAT A DAY!!! 💪

I have a 30 to an hour drive to work. Been listening to this for the past few days. Big fan of long form content due to this. Release the Reaving cut.

The wars of reaving were horror of a cosmic level. And the irony of it all is that it was the final form of Nicholas's demented vision, worse than all of the succession wars combined and only equaled by the Blakists Ragnarok. Very well done. Glad to hear some familiar voices in there too.

Honestly I really liked the Clan history lesson included with this video. I've never really
followed it much and this version was more palatable then most. The co-labs were
a great bonus! Great job everyone.

From visuals to lore dump to mech description, this is top notch. It really gripped and held my attention for 4 hours even though I thought I would not be able to listen to it in one go.

I just put an entire engine together and I'm not even halfway through. Lol. The lore is amazing. Definitely my favorite publication of one of your works yet.

Was suprised to hear The B33F taking part in this. Nice work.

Thank you everyone who was involved in this 4 hour epic! Not only is it full of history regarding one of the baddest IIC mechs, ever, but also a nicely detailed history into its creator: my favorite Clan - The Star Adders. There isn't enough material for them and I love and appreciate all those involved in recanting their history up to where the cannon has left off!

With regards to the Warhammer IIC, you've made me fall even more in love with it.

With Star Adder, you've engendered in me a desire to learn more about them. Something about a clan that wants all the jabbering clanners to shut up and be focused on a singular objective is really refreshing. I'll definitely look into them!

Thank you for the fantastic video.

Certainly well worth the wait, as well as the four hours of entertainment it provides. Rest easy, Red; you've more than earned it.

It took me two days to watch this, but it has been well worth it. I absolutely love the Tim Burns style in the first half of the piece and adore the various voice cameos.

You're doing great work, Big Red, we appreciate out here.

These were absolutely the coolest clans to learn about so far, and the Warhammer IIC is close to my favourite clan mech. Took me 3 days to watch the entire video, but it was a wonderful ride.

For ardent Blood Spirit fan, such as myself, it is almost taxing to listen the part on the War of Reaving and all the tragedies it brought on the clanspace and my little pet isolationists clan. I take it as a sign of quality - not only this piece is a great history lesson, it is invoking emotions hard, much like a play.

What a fantastic work, sir. My hat' off to you. Videos like that got me back into Battletech.
