I did this with my brother once. It was epic. We had chocolates for token creatures, and whoever killed the token got to eat it themselves.

So this is a thing I actually did.  When I got heavily into Magic with M15, we went shopping for the intro packs.  Right next to where the cards were stored inside Wal-Mart, there was a display selling 2.5 pound bags of various candy.  Without thinking, I grabbed a bag of Twix, and for the next like three weeks my roommate and I used them as counters and tokens (for humorous reasons at first, then tradition) until they were all consumed.
