For warmth and punch = Vintage
For sheer power and resonance = Prolite
For fat, round, modern sounds = SQ1

The Benny Grebb snare is just like melting butter... so nice

The sound of the SQ1's appealed to me the most, but if I had to choose a snare, it would be the one that was paired with the ProLite kit.

Vintage would get my purchase, but I already have a vintage series kit, so my next favourite is the Prolite.

I don't know man. I got an SQ1 kit with a Jost Nickel snare. EVERY TIME I play it I'm ispired, groovey and dare I say, sound like a dream of Marshmallows of Doom.

lo primero que observo es diferencia de parches, por lo tanto no creo que se puede comparar. Pero me gustan todas 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

The kick sound on that vintage kit is amazing!

I really liked the SQ1's . Too bad Sonor drums are super expensive here in the US (compared to DW, Ludwig, Tama etc). Superbly played though. Great demo. Thanks

It's nice to hear a comparison, and while different drums hit it off with different heads, it's hard to know their true differences with such different heads.

They all sound good to me, but the comparison would be far more effective if all the kits were the same sizes with the same kind of heads.

Pity the toms are all different sizes but I like the Prolite and SQ1

Amazing demo, props to those guys, fantastic drummers. They do fantastic e drum covers too.

Best sounding drums in the world to my ears.

Can't tell if I'd prefer sq1's or Prolite's. The vintage series sounds amazing too. Perfect pairing with the snare drums

SQ1 smokes the lot of them. Best kit ive heard in a long time.

Love this but I would really have loved to see this with the same heads on all the drums, we're getting a bit of a misread on the real differences between the drums. We've got coated stock Sonor heads, clear stock Sonor heads and then Evans EC2.

That said, we've got a decent read on Vintage being the tubs, Pro-Lite with a bit of that open Great Gr-Sonor Sound and then the SQ1 with the punchy birch tone that we've known for a long time.

No SQ2 because they're more boutique/custom?

That;s a great demo- comparing only 'vintage' shells in each wood. Not to mention great sound and recording and great playing - highlighting the sound of the drums to the max!

I always appreciate side by side comparisons. More so if the kits have a snare that matches the rest of the drums
