how do you put a full spread with one photo? also, with layflat, do you go into the "bleed lines"? want to ensure there would be no white space with the layflat.

Informative video. On my laptop display, the side and bottom bars took up 3/4 of the screen leaving only a small area for the photo spread. How do I make the centre photo spread big for editing?

Thank you very much for this tutorial. It would have shortened my learning curve. I've been creating photobooks with Photobook Worldwide Canada for a few years now using their downloaded photo book editing software 'Photobook Designer'. I found out that they were not going to upgrade the software anymore so they suggested I use their online editor. I used their online editing software starting from a blank book to create a basic quality 100 page 11"x8.5" imagewrap hardcover photobook. I liked the much bigger readymade selection of layouts, frames, masks, and backgrounds. When I received the book I noticed a white line/band sticking out the bottom left side page and not on the right side page with a photo that straddles a 2 page spread. In another instance I had a 1 photo layout with a white frame in the middle of a red background on both the left and right pages. I measured 1-3/16" from the top of the white frame to the top of the page while measuring 1-5/16" from the bottom of the white frame to the bottom of the left page. The same layout measured equally 1-1/4 top and bottom on the right page. In both instances it really stood out as a  misalignment mistake, spoiling the integrity of the whole book. Learning from past experience I continuously checked and rechecked my work in the preview section (using the zoom option in very tight settings, making sure that I did not lose any detail or add any unwanted detail within the picture boxes and pages. They have a new product feature: an ephotobook that you can share with whomever with an opportunity to purchase a printed copy. I checked this ephotobook version of my printed photobook and again I could not detect any editing mistakes. Would I be right to claim a misprint? I remember seeing another of your videos: self-printing a travel book on a trip to Panama, that you mentioned the mismatch of photos that straddled the left and right pages. Maybe you can help me understand in your layman's approach what is going on here.Keep up the good work!Bob the follower

Why do I get a colored area when I frame a photo? Does it print behind the photo, or is it just to help centre the photo? You did not mention framing in your video.

Unfortunately it seems like photobook uk has removed the option of canon hd printing, not sure if they still do it.

Thank you for the tutorial. However I find this editor very hard to use if you really want to control your book pages. First you have to use a complete spread - 2 pages. There are times when I need to add just one side of page to add photos to...also if I want to add more photos than the max or change sizes of the box I can't seem to make each box exactly the same. There is no way to duplicate a photo box. There are a few other items that are hard to adjust with this editor compared to other programs I have used. I have spent hours trying to complete my book and would have used another program that is more user friendly other than I got a good deal as I had to order 10 books. I like complete control and find this program does not allow for this. However your explanation of phonebooks options was great just didn't give me options I was hoping for. Maybe you can pass on info for Photobook to add to their editor.

I am new at this ... How do you actually add the photos to your book. You used the shortcut but from where did the editor select the photos? If you add them manually, how do you do this?

Thanks for the video! Unfortunately, I don't get the Canon paper options if I replicate your setup. Instead of Canon HD there are a bunch of "Felix Schoeller E-Photo" options. Any idea what's the deal with that, and what happened to the Canon DreamLabo papers? Are those new papers a reasonable alternative? Not sure what the difference is. Can't find that information in the FAQs.
