Shubble shares her story about Wilbur Soot (TW ABUSE)

On 24 February 2024, Shubble (Shelby) shared that she was physically and emotionally abused in her relationship with Wilbur Soot. Wilbur has issued an "apology" but Shubble does not accept it. I think it's really important to watch her full story so that folks know what Wilbur did, and to learn common signs of domestic abuse.

I just want to say how proud i am of Clem Everett as a channel for uploading this. Considering the majority of this channel was devoted to Lovejoy and W!ilbur content it must have taken a lot to change so rapidly and to that i am in utter awe. I’m so upset at how much i’ve supported wilbur while all of this was happening. I am DISGUSTED when Shelby said they yelled out the safe word and Wilbur bit even harder. I'm an autistic person, people using his autism to justify this behaviour is absolutely disgusting. Autistic people can at times overstep boundaries and hurt people accidentally, but autistic people can recognize when they're being abusive and or intentionally hurtful. I'm honestly ashamed people can ever even think that it may be an excuse for it. An autistic abuser being autistic doesn't ever justify abuse, or even give the abuse a reason. I'm so srry this happened to Shelby, these types of situations can be incredibly traumatic and damaging, i can see the manipulation in this story clear as day. Good luck to all domestic abuse survivors and victims, my heart goes out to every one of them, including Shelby.

I have a super close friend who bites as a sign of affection, and I can say that it is never to the point of pain. The fact that Wilbur was doing it to that point frequently and playing it off as an accident then doing it in front of friends until she screamed is so angering to hear. Just the idea of it being an "accident" and then not at other times makes it hard to believe it was ever an accident to begin with

Edit: You can play bite someone without hurting them. It is common to do as a result of oral fixation. Most just don't use pressure when doing this. Wilbur doing it to a point of pain is preventable on his part. I don't get how what I said makes it seem like I'm okay with people doing it in a way to hurt others. That's like saying play fighting (like fake punching with no force) is the same as real fighting or hitting.

my bf has low functioning autism and he bites me to show affection, however, it has never hurt me and he knows not to go to far, so i do understand people biting to show affection but this is to far and when it gets out of hand like this it is abuse, we're here for u shubble
